Besides several video productions Free Your Mind Productions has been running different x-media projects connected with Windsurfing, Surfing and Snowboarding in the last couple of years. On this page we will try to provide information about what is currently going on at the editing suite, behind the camera on the internet and of course on the water.

WEBCONTEST
This easy but action packed competition format has been invented and developed by Lars Petersen and Henrik von Janda. it is based on man on man duels which are individually filmed witha video camera. Heat duration: 7 min. with one sailor on the water at the time, starting with one rider, then rotating to the other. All repeated 3 times, so the Camera records totally 21 minutes of each rider. The competitors are allowed to change boards and sails during their heats. Each rider is allowed to choose 1 minute out of his recorded material. He determines the editing of his movie. So he is able to select the moves he thinks will be the best for his result. No special effects allowed except slow motion. Repeats of moves are also not allowed, nor editing of moves in a way where it looks like they are landed while in reality they are not.
These 1 minutes video clips are provided on the tideguide websever. The audience will be able to vote for their favorite rider for about 2 weeks and determine the winner of the webcontest. Webcontest have been held so far in Klitmøller/dk, Cape Town/za, Gran Canaria/es and MAUI!.
